Teens sought in Wash. beating death of World War II vet (Video)

WASHINGTON – A World War II veteran who survived being wounded in the Battle of Okinawa has died after being beaten by two teenagers in Spokane, Wash.

KXLY reports 88-year-old Delbert “Shorty” Belton died Thursday, the morning after he was attacked outside of a lodge where he was headed to play pool.

Police reportedly have surveillance footage from the scene and are looking for two suspects between 16 and 19 years old.
