Ball State student wins free tuition with half-court shot (Video)

WASHINGTON – Athletes looking for a free trip to college like to focus on their jump shots, but maybe they should back it up a bit more.

Yardbarker reports 18-year-old freshman Markus Burden was selected during Ball State University’s “Welcome Week” to take a half-court shot. Make it, and he’d get a semester’s-worth of tuition completely covered.
