Gallery Bethesda Apartment Building Giving Away Lunch Money

Construction of The Gallery Bethesda apartments in Woodmont TriangleA new apartment development is trying to drum up interest by offering $100 gift cards to Bethesda restaurants.

The Gallery Bethesda, which includes a 17-story, 234-unit apartment that is nearing completion, is giving away a $100 gift card to one person who posts his or her favorite lunch spot on its Facebook page.

The prize will be awarded at the end of the month.

The building, from D.C.-based developer Donohoe, is one of two coming to the intersection of Auburn and Rugby Avenues in Woodmont Triangle. It is scheduled for completion in 2014.

The developer recently “topped-out” at the 17th floor. It will be the tallest apartment building in Bethesda’s Central Business District.

Leasing starts in December.
