WASHINGTON – Welcome home.

One hundred fourteen Vietnam veterans on Friday boarded an Honor Flight to the Washington area.

The flight took off from Wisconsin and arrived at Reagan National Airport about 9:30 a.m.

Passengers, volunteers and veterans who live in the area clapped, cheered and waved flags as the Vietnam vets passed through the terminal.

During their one-day stay, they stopped at Vietnam War Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
