Fernwood Road Resurfacing Project Set To Begin Next Week

Via MCDOTCrews will begin road pavement repairs and resurfacing next week on Fernwood Road between Rockledge Drive and Democracy Boulevard.

The work is scheduled to start next week and last about two months. The road will remain open, but expect lane closures during work hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.

There will also be temporary parking restrictions to allow for street paving and other work. Signs will be posted to explain any restrictions. Access to residences will be available at all times, but minor delays may happen as workers let freshly placed hot mix asphalt settle.

For more information on the project and for contact information of the project and program managers, check out the MCDOT newsletter announcing the repaving.
