Police need public’s help solving double homicide

WASHINGTON — Two people were killed in a triple shooting in D.C. on Wednesday night on Ridge Road in Southeast.

Anthony Chase, 19, and Eric Leeper, 27, were killed in the shooting that occurred around 11:30 p.m., according to a Metropolitan police news release. The third victim, who has not been identified, was admitted to a hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries.

Patrol officers in the neighborhood heard gunshots and consequently found three men, all suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Chase was pronounced dead on the scene and Leeper died after being transported to a hospital.

Police offer a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of suspects wanted to any homicide in D.C.
