Royal baby fever: What will the new royal wear?

WASHINGTON – With the royal birth expected in London any moment, a lot of folks have royal baby fever: Guessing whether the baby will be a boy or girl, and what the child’s name might be.

But how about what the potential future king or queen of England will wear?

Surely, the clothes will be good, but what look, exactly, is best?

Asha Grayson, who works at Dawn Price Baby in Georgetown, says she hopes the baby will be a girl “because there are a lot of dresses we have now that I feel would fit the duchess’ style. I’d love for her to have a little Mini-Me with the cute coats and structured dresses.”

Grayson is not suggesting they dress exactly alike, however.

And, what if the royal babe is a boy?

“I personally think it’s really cute when a little boy looks like a little old man,” Grayson said with a laugh. “So, like suspenders and little blazers. I think that would be really good.”

When it comes to guessing what the youngest royal’s first favorite toy will be, Grayson says it seems every baby these days has a Sophie the Giraffe teether.
