Montgomery County Police say two male suspects walked through an unlocked door of a Bethesda home on Saturday night before confronting its residents and demanding valuables.

Police said they were called to a home in the 7100 block of Natelli Woods Lane at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday after residents of the home woke up to find the two suspects, who took unspecified items. Police said there is no further information about the suspects at this time.

Patrol units and a K-9 team searched the area but did not locate the suspects.

Police urged residents to lock all doors and windows and use outdoor lighting and alarm systems. Investigators on this case believe the suspects walked through an unlocked door.

Police are looking into whether this incident might be related to other late-night burglaries. Police on Friday released information about an alleged June 22 home burglary in the 8900 block of Holly Leaf Lane, about a mile east of Natelli Woods Lane.

That alleged burglary happened on a Saturday afternoon, apparently after the homeowners went for a walk.
