Honey Boo Boo, family visit D.C. for book signing (Photos)

WASHINGTON – Honey Boo Boo has gone to Washington.

The Georgia girl who’s become a cable TV sensation was in D.C. this week with her family members for a book signing, The Huffington Post reports.

Her Facebook page shows the group making a visit outside the White House.

She also was seen at the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum, according to amused Tweeters.

The book signing for Honey Boo Boo — whose real name is Alana Thompson — was scheduled for Thursday at the Tysons Corner Center Barnes & Noble, HuffPo says. Family members were to sign copies of “How to Honey Boo Boo: The Complete Guide on How to Redneckognize the Honey Boo Boo in You.”

The show featuring the family’s antics returns to TLC next week.
