Possible lightning strike injures two in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County fire officials say two men were severely injured by a possible lightning strike.

Emergency responders found the men unconscious outside a home on River Drive in Annapolis on Wednesday night. Officials say the two men, ages 18 and 24, were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Neighbors say the men were injured by what appeared to be a lightning strike, but officials say they aren’t ready to say yet whether the men were struck by lightning.
