The Washington Monument gets its glow on

With it’s new energy saving lights illuminating the immense scaffolding needed to repair the damage caused by the 20-11 earthquake. It took a few minutes from when the switch was thrown and you can see the lights climbing the Monument and go from green, to yellow and then white.
