A water main break on Jones Mill Road north of its intersection with Jones Bridge Road has it closed this morning as WSSC crews work to stop a steady flow of water heading toward Rock Creek.

The break happened around 8 a.m. on the two-lane road just north of Black Chestnut Lane.

Water has flooded a low-lying section of the road and is flowing east toward Rock Creek Park.
