D.C. ranks last for doctors going digital

In 2012, 22.4 percent of Washington, D.C.’s office-based doctors used basic electronic medical records, Bloomberg reports, significantly lower than the national average of 39.6 percent.

How high tech is your health care? Bloomberg ranked all 50 states and the nation’s capital to determine where medical records were still stuck in the 20th century.

The results may surprise you. Massachusetts and Minnesota rank high. Connecticut and New Jersey, not so much.
