Drowsy drivers: Express brewing goes mobile (Video)

WASHINGTON – Droopy-eyed drivers who fear long commutes are in for a treat.

There’s a new gadget that can perk them up.

The Handpresso Auto Espresso Maker fits right into a car’s cup holder and plugs into the 12-volt power supply.

All a sleepy driver needs is water and an ESE pod, or Easy Serving Espresso pod, and in 2 minutes there’s a warm cup of caffeinated comfort.

The gadget, made by a French company, is available online for about $200.

One thing to note: the maker doesn’t want operators to espresso-and-drive.
