Fashion On Elm Street To Benefit Children’s Inn

Le Ciel Salon & SpaLe Ciel Salon & Spa (4728 Elm St.) will host a fashion show featuring local boutiques to benefit the Children’s Inn at NIH, a charity that houses sick children and their families seeking treatment at NIH.

The event, “Fashion On Elm Street,” is set for 3 p.m. on June 30 outside the salon and will include modeling from Miss DC Latina Gilda Villela, Miss Maryland Teen Hannah Brewer, Miss Virginia Shannon McAnally, Miss Wyoming Mary David and Miss Pakistan World 2009 Ayesha Gilani.

A portion of the proceeds from the VIP event (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) will go to the Children’s Inn. VIP tickets are $40 and general admission is free.

The pageant winners will model designs from five nearby boutiques: J. McLaughlin (4851 Bethesda Ave.), Celine de Paris (7706 Woodmont Ave.), Luna Boutique (7232 Woodmont Ave.), Definition Boutique (4700 Bethesda Ave.) and Courage b Boutique (7125 Bethesda Lane) as well as independent designers Nathalie Kraynina and the Tai Adeboyeku Collection.
