Footage captures Md. collision between CSX train, truck (Video)

WASHINGTON – Footage posted on YouTube by a truck and trailer company shows the collision between a CSX train and a truck Tuesday that led to the train’s derailment.

Eastern Truck and Trailer posted the video Wednesday. WBAL reports the footage of the collision and the moments afterward was captured by surveillance cameras on the company’s property, which is along the tracks where the crash happened.

The first video shows the collision in the opening moments of the video.

The second video captures an explosion that CSX Transportation says involved a hazardous chemical being carried by one of the train’s cars.
