2 teens arrested in Seat Pleasant shooting death

WASHINGTON – Two teenagers have been arrested in the shooting death of a Seat Pleasant man earlier this month.

The Prince George’s County Police say they’ve arrested 16-year-old Raphael Chad Mwilima, of Silver Spring, and 19-year-old Daquan Marquis Douglas, of Seat Pleasant, in the death of Michael Nolan Brown, 23. Mwilima is being charged as an adult.

The police say that Brown was shot May 14 during a robbery at his home on Cabin Branch Drive and are looking for a third suspect.

Mwilima was arrested on Monday; Douglas turned himself on on Thursday, according to the police. Both are charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery and face other charges. They are being held without bond.
