Pet of the week: Belinda, Boston terrier mix

WASHINGTON – WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. Meet this week’s pet below.

Name: Belinda

Age: 1.5 years old

Breed: Min Pin/Boston terrier mix

Bio: This cutie from West Virginia can be timid when meeting new people but you can tell she really wants to be best friends. Once she gets comfortable — which doesn’t take long — she craves interaction and attention.

Belinda will climb on to your lap for a cuddle in return for some affectionate doggy kisses. She is a smart little dog who already knows “sit” and “down.”

She’s intimidated by other dogs and is looking for an adult home — or one with older children — where she can be your “one and only.” And, seriously, with a dog as loving as Belinda, who needs more than one?

For more information about Belinda, email adoption@warl.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
