Missing boaters’ bodies found in Va. river

TAPPAHANNOCK, Va. (AP) – Virginia Marine Police divers have recovered the bodies of two men whose boat capsized in the Rappahannock River.

The Coast Guard says a third man was rescued by a resident who saw the capsized boat near his home. The resident took his own boat to the scene to help. He and the man he rescued returned to shore and called 911.

The accident occurred Saturday morning near Tappahannock. Divers recovered the bodies about five hours later near the capsized 15-foot boat.
