After 17 years, area sisters reunited at track meet (Video)

WASHINGTON – Two sisters and D.C. student-athletes who were separated shortly after birth have been reunited — through a track meet.

WUSA 9 reports Jordan Dickerson was adopted. Her sister, Robin Jeter, eventually went into foster care and to a legal guardian.

But after 17 years apart, the two teenagers happened to be at the same track meet.

Friends said they looked like each other. After talking, they realized they were sisters.

The girls tell WUSA 9 they now go to each other’s homes each weekend and love to get together.
