Prince George’s police arrest armed robbery suspects

WASHINGTON – Prince George’s police have arrested two suspects connected to the robbery that occurred Wednesday in Seat Pleasant.

The suspects are identified as Adrian Eugene Pitts, 22, and Afolabi Ijaoba, 19. Both live in the 1300 block of Dillon Court in Capitol Heights.

Both men are being charged with armed robbery, first degree burglary, first degree assault and other charges.

Pitts is being held without bond and Ijaoba’s bond is set at $70,000.

WASHINGTON – An armed suspect is on the loose after a robbery attempt in Prince George’s County.

Police say at least two gunmen forced themselves into a townhouse on Opal Place in Seat Pleasant around 9 a.m.

Officers fired at the gunman.

One suspect was taken into custody, while the other got away.

A gun was found inside the house and another was found outside.

Police have closed off the area and urge the public to use caution.
