FBI employees disciplined for sexting, documents show

WASHINGTON – FBI employees have sent nude pictures and explicit messages to co-workers, bugged a boss’s office and paid for a sexual favor at a massage parlor.

CNN reports the indiscretions are just some of the things agency employees have been disciplined or fired for recently, according to internal documents obtained by the network.

The internal reports are issued by the agency in an effort to deter such actions.

“We’re hoping (that) getting the message out in the quarterlies is going to teach people, as well as their supervisors … you can’t do this stuff,” FBI assistant director Candice Will tells CNN.

About 1,000 FBI employees were disciplined for a variety of violations and 85 were fired from 2010 to 2012, CNN says.
