Metrobus crashes into wall in Georgetown

WASHINGTON – An out of service Metrobus caused minor damage Wednesday night after crashing into a wall near Georgetown University.

According to Metro, the accident happened at 37th and O St. NW in D.C., near the main gate of the university.

For reasons that are still unclear, the out of service G2 bus started rolling forward and struck a brick retaining wall.

The bus has minor damage but no injuries are reported.
