Worker dies at Brunswick Auto Repair

A 39-year-old Knoxville man died this morning at Brunswick Auto Repair after an industrial tractor tire blew up in his face.

Brian Alan Snoots was working at the shop when police and emergency responders were called to the area around 8:30 a.m.

Snoots was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:42 a.m., according to a Maryland State Police press release.

The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Department and a Forensics Investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner were contacted and arrived on scene to conduct additional investigations.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed, state police said.
