No injuries in Gaithersburg fire

GAITHERSBURG, Md. – Montgomery County firefighters battled an early morning fire on the second floor of an apartment building Monday.

The fire occurred on the 100 block of South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg.

No injuries were reported, according to a tweet from Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
