Woman robs 2 banks in 15 minutes

WASHINGTON – Authorities are looking for a woman who robbed two northwest banks in about 15 minutes.

Metropolitan police and the FBI said the woman walked into the PNC Bank in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue about 9:13 a.m. Monday. The woman gave a teller note demanding money, received the money and left.

Officials say about 9:28 a.m. Monday, the woman entered the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue. She asked a teller for cash and said she had a gun. She got money and left.

No weapon was shown at either robbery.
