George Mason University project likely to snarl traffic

A construction project intended to reduce traffic congestion around George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus has begun — and is likely to snarl traffic, Fairfax Times reports.

The $15 million construction project will connect the east and west sides of the campus with a road that will be accessible from Braddock Road and will cross Ox Road via an underpass.

The project is slated for completion in December 2013.
