Cabs in District will cost bit more on Inauguration Day

WASHINGTON – The D.C. Taxi Cab Commission has authorized a $1 fee for each additional passenger taking a trip on Inauguration Day.

The fee goes into effect at 4 a.m. and lasts until midnight.

The commission tried to implement a similar fee during the Nationals playoff games but Mayor Vincent Gray had the fee rescinded before it took effect.
