Three pedestrians hurt in two traffic accidents Monday night

WASHINGTON – Three pedestrians were seriously hurt Monday night in two separate accidents in the area.

The first happened on Wisteria Drive at the intersection in Germantown around 6:30 p.m.

The man was taken to a local hospital in grave condition.

In a press release, Montgomery County officials asked that anyone who witnessed the collision or who may know the identity of the victim, is asked to call investigators at 240-773-6620, or the non-emergency line at 301-279-8000. Officials believe he is hispanic and in his 30s.

The second incident was in Gaithersburg at 355 near Shady Grove Road around 8:40pm.

A man and woman were hit and police had to remove the man from the windshield. Both pedestrians were critically hurt.

Drivers remained on the scene in both incidents.
