Georgetown residents will get an inside peak Jan. 2 at plans for a new entertainment-themed bowling alley at the Shops at Georgetown Park, the latest of several planned additions to the aging mall being reinvented by Vornado Realty Trust.

The Advisory Neighborhood Commission overseeing Georgetown is scheduled to take up an application by the owners of 3222 M St. NW to allow Chicago-based Pinstripes to open its first East Coast location at Georgetown Park. Pinstripes has not yet signed an official lease, but company founder Dale Schwartz > previously told the Washington Business Journal it plans to do so if it gets approval from the city’s zoning board in January.

Vornado has been working for more than a year to reinvent Georgetown Park as a collection of larger-format stores rather than as a more traditional indoor mall. The company has added several other retailers to its roster, including a combined T.J. Maxx-HomeGoods store.

The ANC2E is scheduled to take up several other items at its upcoming meeting as well, including a plan to relocate the Capital Bikeshare station in the 1000 block of Wisconsin Ave. NW and requests by Café Milano and Kafe Leopold to extend their business hours during the week of the Presidential Inauguration.
