MoCo police looking for suspect in possible shooting

WASHINGTON – A possible shooting Wednesday afternoon has left a man with life- threatening injuries in Montgomery County.

Around 4:25 p.m. police in Wheaton responded to Northgate Park at 14100 Connecticut Avenue for a reported shooting. There, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from a a possible gunshot wound. According to police he was transported to a hospital in “grave” condition.

Police say the possible suspect is a black male who is about 5-feet-7. He was wearing a blue jacket and is approximately 20-years-old.
