Weekly Crime Report: Nov. 19 to Nov. 27

Two peeping tom incidents occurred a few weeks ago in Bethesda, according to the most recent Montgomery County Police crime summary:

On Friday, 11/23 between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., the suspect entered the female locker room at Bethesda Sport & Health Center, 4400 Montgomery Avenue, Bethesda.  The suspect fled when police arrived, but was later located and detained on an outstanding warrant for an unrelated theft.

On Saturday, 11/24 between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., the suspect entered the Hyatt Hotel, 7400 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda and sat across from the adult female victim.  The suspect exposed himself then fled.

Suspect: B/M, 29, 6’3”, 190 lbs.

Also, police are investigating whether an employee at a spa sexually assaulted a customer:

A sexual assault occurred at 7200 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda on Tuesday, 11/20.  An adult female victim reported that during her appointment at Jolie Day Spa, she was sexually assaulted by a male employee.  Investigation continuing.

Suspect: H/M, 45, 6’-6’2”, moustache

A commercial burglary occurred at Giant Food, 5463 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda on Tuesday, 11/20 between 12:10 a.m. and 4:50 a.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

Multiple attempted thefts from vehicles occurred on Tuesday, 11/20 between 2:45 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in this Chevy Chase beat.

Arrested: Male, age 19, from Washington, DC; Female, age 20, from Washington, DC

A residential burglary occurred in the 6200 block of Landon Lane, Bethesda sometime overnight from Tuesday, 11/20 to Wednesday, 11/21. Unforced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Montgomery Mall, 7107 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda overnight from Tuesday, 11/20 to Wednesday, 11/21. Unforced entry; property taken.

A commercial office burglary occurred at 4733 Bethesda Avenue, Bethesda sometime over the Thanksgiving weekend between Wednesday, 11/21 and Monday, 11/26.  Unknown entry into one suite; attempted entry to two others.  Nothing was reported missing.

A commercial burglary occurred at Beer, Wine & Co, 7029 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase on Thursday, 11/22 at 2:45 a.m.  Unknown entry; property taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 6200 block of Walhonding Road, Bethesda on Thursday, 11/22 at 11:20 a.m.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Stewart Drive, Chevy Chase on Saturday, 11/24 between 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.  Unforced entry; property taken.

A theft incident occurred at White Flint, 11301 Rockville Pike, Kensington on Sunday, 11/25 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  The victim stated that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her purse.

A burglary occurred at Wyngate Elementary School, 9300 Wyngate Drive, Bethesda between Monday, 11/26 and Tuesday, 11/27.  Forced entry into a construction trailer; property taken.

A vandalism was reported at Sinnott Drive & Lone Oak Drive, North Bethesda during the daytime on Monday, 11/26 and Tuesday, 11/27.  Tires were slashed on three vehicles parked near Ashburton Elementary School.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6100 block of Roseland Drive, Rockville on Tuesday, 11/27 between 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Forced entry; nothing taken.
