Chicken skin is the latest food fad

WASHINGTON – Food fans, hold on to your beaks.

Chicken skin is the latest culinary craze to hit the foodie circuit.

In fact, one Chicago chef even serves a chicken skin salad and chicken skin with onion seeds, among other combinations.

The crunchy snack is selling for about $4 per pound in stores and in some cases, $5 per order in restaurants.
