WASHINGTON – There will be no access Thursday morning from Massachusetts Avenue to the Rock Creek Parkway due to paving on Waterside Drive.

Drivers will be directed to access the Rock Creek Parkway from P Street, NW.

Expect delays on Massachusetts Avenue near Sheridan Circle and the Naval Observatory. Delays also are likely on streets surrounding Sheridan Circle due to the detour.

Waterside Drive will reopen by 3 p.m. Thursday.

Expect delays to continue on the Rock Creek Parkway due to the ongoing workzone on the Rock Creek Parkway southbound after Waterside Drive. A single lane will remain open through the long-term work zone.
