TSA app estimates delays, security lines

WASHINGTON – Perhaps the most dreaded part of the holiday travel season is the airport frenzy.

Other than checking in online — there is now more you can do to speed things up at the airport thanks to the Transportation Security Administration.

My TSA is an app designed to give travelers 24/7 access to answers for the most frequently asked questions. And user feedback indicates it’s helpful.

The app provides real time estimates on how long people will wait in line at security checkpoints at most major airports and gives a list of what can and can’t be brought on board.

My TSA even has the official weather status that airlines are planning for – so you can prepare for or avoid delays.

Check it out by downloading My TSA for iPhone or Android devices.
