Police: Serial groper possibly strikes again

WASHINGTON – Franconia police are investigating what could be the 11th groping incident in the area.

At approximately 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, a woman was allegedly grabbed from behind near the intersection of Amherst and Cumberland avenues.

The suspect fled, but is described as a man of unknown race and about 5-foot-9. He was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki pants and a blue hat.

A possible 10th incident was reported earlier this week in Springfield.
