Dulles corridor Metrorail project full closures this week

WASHINGTON – Work on the Dulles corridor Metrorail project will close some roads overnight this week.

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 7 and continuing Thursday, Nov. 8 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., the Dulles Airport Access Road westbound will be closed. All traffic will be detoured onto the Dulles Toll Road westbound between mile markers 8.6 and 3.3. Airport-bound traffic will be able to re-enter the Access Road at the existing entrance point near the Herndon-Monroe park and ride lot.

On Thursday, Nov. 8 beginning at 11 p.m. there will be a full closure of Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) eastbound between Gosnell Road and Route 123. A detour will be posted.
