Art illusion: The type of picture versus the eye’s perception

WASHINGTON – In the spirit of things that aren’t what they seem, a self-taught artist living in Italy has created an image that bends perception.

Buzzfeed reports that the image the artist drew is not a photograph, though it appears remarkably detailed.

Instead, the artist drew the image by hand with a pencil. To prove it, Buzzfeed included two images of the artist at work.
