WASHINGTON – The opening of the newly constructed ramp connecting DC 295 northbound with 11th Street southeast has been moved from Oct. 3 to Oct. 4 due to inclement weather on Tuesday.

Starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, the Howard Rd southeast entrance ramp to DC 295 northbound will be closed to complete final paving and tie-in work for the new ramp.

Also starting at 8 p.m., DC 295 northbound between Howard Road and Pennsylvania Avenue will be reduced to one lane.

The Howard Road ramp and lanes of DC 295 should be reopened by 5 a.m. Thursday.

It has yet to be announced exactly what time the new ramp will be opening Thursday.
