‘Gangnam Mids’ gyrate into Annapolis (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – A group of Naval Academy students prove life isn’t quite as regimented as perceived, as they demonstrate that even midshipmen can live “Gangnam Style.”

The Korean pop song by PSY, named for the affluent district of Seoul, has taken the internet by storm with more than 200 million page views since it was uploaded in July.

With that kind of flattery inevitably comes imitation. A 60-year-old woman took to the Internet with her version after instruction from her son, dancer Mike Song.

This group of mids from the academy’s 22nd Company created the video as a “spirit spot,” and have already garnered more than a hundred thousand page views since Sunday.
