Business breakfasts are an under-used way of getting important business done — quickly, sharply and before your competitors have even made it to the office.

Or you really want to impress a potential client? Or you want to fly below the radar? Or do you just want a decent cup of coffee and some good conversation?

The Washington Business Journal scoured some of its favorite breakfast spots throughout the Washington region, as well as those of its sources.

The list includes Seasons at the Four Seasons in Georgetown, as well as Teaism in Penn Quarter.

The list also includes less formal meeting spots, including the Tastee Diner in Bethesda. and Bob and Edith’s Diner in Arlington.

Here are the Journal’s favorite breakfast spots and its honorable mentions.
