Permanent Lane Shift of Leesburg Pike near Dulles Toll Road

Dulles Corridor Metrorail project crews will shift the eastbound lanes of Route 7 near the Dulles Toll Road to their final configuration. The work begins Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. and will last until 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.

The through lanes of Route 7 will shift south approximately 40 feet, between the Dulles Toll Road overpass and the ramp from eastbound Route 267 onto eastbound Route 7. Some additional paving will be required after the lanes have been shifted.

Police will be on site to manage traffic.
