App makes college visits easier

WASHINGTON – Planning to visit colleges with your kids can be difficult. But a new app promises to simplify the process of planning those tours.

The app is called Quad2Quad.

Susan Jones, one of the co-founders of the app, says it could be revolutionary for parents.

“The biggest worry for these parents is that they’ll go there and show up on the wrong day or they’ll show up without a reservation,” says Jones.

The app provides accurate dates and times of tours and information sessions.

“It will map you to the colleges of you choice,” says Jones.

The app can also make custom itinerary’s.

There are only 74 schools in the apps database right now, but Jones says they are adding 300 more schools in the next few months.

The app is only available in the iOS app store right now, and costs $4.99.
