Healthy options for a day at the ballpark

WASHINGTON – Baseball season and bathing suit season are both in full-swing, but it turns out the two aren’t mutually exclusive. A growing number of baseball stadiums are offering healthier choices for those who wish to avoid the hot dogs and beer.

Health.com recently put together a list of 30 healthy choices at baseball stadiums across the country. Not only do many of the choices look appetizing, but the calorie count won’t kill a diet.

At No. 16 on the list, Nationals Park offers a grilled vegetable wrap at The Healthy Plate that’s chock full of vitamins and fiber. The wrap, which is full of red bell peppers, tomatoes onions and more clocks in at 270 calories.
