WASHINGTON – Helicopter parenting can be both good and bad. On the one hand, kids stay safe. On the other hand, adults can be overbearing when it comes to protecting their offspring.

One Massachusetts mother took matters into her own hands when a referee failed to break up a fight during a hockey game. The woman marched out onto the ice and told the ref what’s what.
