Man killed by hit-and-run driver in Lewisdale

LEWISDALE, Md. – Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run Saturday night along University Boulevard in Lewisdale.

Prince George’s County police say Samuel Diaz, 28, of Hyattsville, Md., was hit by a silver SUV that fled the scene.

It happened around 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of University Boulevard in Lewisdale, Md – near the Adelphi Shopping Center.

Police are still looking for the SUV that hit Diaz. They describe it as a Silver SUV with front end damage.

The investigation is still ongoing.
