LaHood to try to whip Dulles rail actors into agreement

Obama sees ‘new day’ 1 year after bin Laden raid
On a swift, secretive trip to the war zone, President Barack Obama declared Tuesday night that after years of sacrifice the U.S. combat role in Afghanistan is winding down just as it has already ended in Iraq. “We can see the light of a new day,” he said on the anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death and in the midst of his own re-election campaign.

D.C. 9th among worst places to won a car
The survey from Jalopnik finds D.C. is the ninth most tortuous place to try to keep a car. It justifies the ranking saying roads are confusing and seem to be designed to stop traffic. And, it’s survey finds nobody knows how to drive in D.C.
