Tickets still available for Summer 2012 Olympics in London

WASHINGTON – The summer 2012 Olympic Games in London kick off in less than three months, but there may be hope for those who still want to purchase tickets.

Most of the tickets are gone, but The New York Timesreports that certain competitions — like basketball, gymnastics — still have availability.

CoSport, an approved Olympic ticket reseller, has packages that include hotel stays and tickets to specific events, which may be helpful for those traveling internationally.

In May, ticket sales will be suspended for processing and remaining tickets will be offered again in June.

But, the Times says, even without tickets, potential spectators can watch several events just by staking out a good spot on the sidelines.
