Two cars crash into buildings in Va.

WASHINGTON – Two cars crashed into buildings in Northern Virginia on Saturday.

A car crashed into a Baskin Robbins on Lee Highway in Arlington this afternoon.

Arlington police say there were no injuries to customers or the driver. The building did not sustain any structural damage, either.

Ballston Patch is reporting that an elderly driver mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.

Another driver crashed into a building on Belvoir Woods Parkway near The Fairfax retirement community.

No one was hurt. Fairfax county fire says there was only minor damage to the building.
