Where the spirits are alive!

At George Washington’s Distillery & Grist Mill that’s where! This week master distillers from Scotland have been using 18th century techniques to distill a Scotch-like spirit. After three years of aging in American Oak casks according to the Scotch style, a limited edition of one hundred of the bottles — marking the 100th anniversary of the Scotch Whisky Association–it will be sold for charities around the world. All of this made possible by Mount Vernon Estate, and the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States.
